Originally known as Laurelwood, the area Studio City occupies was formerly part of Rancho Ex-Mission San Fernando. The land changed hands several times during the late 19th century and was eventually in the hands of James Boon Lankershim and eight other developers who formed the Lankershim Ranch Land and Water Company. The area lost most water rights in 1899, causing subdivision and sale of the land for farming to become untenable. After the construction of the Los Angeles Aqueduct in 1908 and water reached the San Fernando Valley in 1913, real estate boomed.

Victor and his team were excellent. I have never hired movers before, but I am so happy I went with these guys. I am always a little suspect when a business only has generically good reviews, but they are the real deal. Victor and his team were very communicative, prompt, and handled all my belongings with such care. They brought a ton of materials like moving tape, wardrobe boxes, moving blankets, etc, for all the odd things I didn't know how to pack. I love my new spot and hope to not move for a long time, but if I do, I would hire these guys in a heartbeat.

We hired some movers who did not show up the day of the move. I was frantically searching for new movers when Victor reached out with a quote. He explained everything over the phone and was very responsive to my questions. They were on time and have no hidden charges. Honestly, they were the BEST movers we have ever hired! They took great care of all our furniture and were super nice and friendly. We had a lot of glass furniture pieces and they carefully wrapped everything. Will definitely call them for our next move. Our experience with Anywayz Moving was exceptional. Victor and Sergio were polite, considerate, and worked in a timely manner. You would not believe they were paid hourly to watch them work. While they mindfully wrapped, transported, unwrapped and placed each piece carefully; you would think they were paid based upon how quickly they completed the job. They wasted no time whatsoever and I would highly recommend them. Also, I appreciate the fact that they did not try and surcharge me to death... Many moving companies charge a booking fee, fuel surcharge fee, material fee, drivetime fee, etc. One company quote me nearly $300 for these additional fees and my move was less than 2 miles. Anywayz are hard working honest people that will take care of your possessions without overcharging you. Response time to Inquiry was less than one hour
Prompt, friendly, professional. They had plenty of packing materials (included with the charge) and were able to pack away some of the odd/awkward items that we weren't sure how to handle. This was our first time hiring movers and we are very pleased. Hopefully we won't have to move again any time soon, but they made this process as painless as moving can be.
Serg and Victor did an absolutely incredible job moving my things into storage. They were quick and efficient and protected all my furniture with blankets and tape. I recommend requesting them both as they're kind, funny, reliable, hard-working, smart movers.

They take their name seriously, because it really is as simple as saying "Anywayz," calling them up, kicking your feet back and watching your space go from overwhelming moving clutter to empty in less than 3 hours! They also have not damaged a SINGLE item while transporting because they wrap and protect each item with two layers+, which in itself deserves praise. We moved recently from one bed to two bed apartment. Moving was easy and all items are safely moved without any damage great effort by Victor and Arthur. They didn't even waste any time and showed up on time. Actually we did have some things in private storage space. They moved those things and our apartment things too. The price also affordable( includes wrapping furniture) and We checked one or two moving companies before contacting anywayz moving , the moving rate per hour is more (without wrapping) compared to anywayz moving. They Safely handled the furnitures and fragile things. They make sure to wrap everything to avoid damages.

Victor has been great to work with! He is very professional, prompt, fast working, and was very careful with our stuff. They even moved our extremely heavy punching bag filled with sand. He has great spacial skills to fit a lot of stuff into small storage spaces! On top of that, his prices are great! I highly recommend using anywayz moving!

Victor and Alex are amazing, on time, very professional. One of most relaxed movers I have used and friendly. Viktor and the movers were extremely professional and kind, from the beginning quote to the end of the move. The head mover (who's name I would butcher, so I won't even attempt) was very patient, gentlile and calming; just what you need during stressful moving time. I've had bad experiences with movers before, but these guys were top notch! Extremely impressed with their service AND it was a great price to boot. Highly recommend! Highly recommend. I had a last minute move and only had 4 days notice and Anywayz was responsive and had the best quote by far. The movers were extremely nice and I could tell they were very meticulous in making sure everything was wrapped properly so nothing would get damaged. They also took off my TVs from the mounts for me and provided all the wrapping materials and wardrobe boxes at no extra charge. Definitely would use them again.
It was easy planning with the Anywayz moving team. Initially they gave a 2 hour window of arrival but we're flexible and able to lock down a 9am start. The team ( 2 guys) that arrived were welcoming and had the general covid-19 protections in place. They both communicated well and took great care of my possessions. It took longer than expected, but I don't think this was fault of the team, probably the length of time from my apartment (3rd floor) to the truck, noting the elevator is on the other side of the building. All in all, a great service and I would certainly use them / recommend them again
Victor and his team were amazing. First he came over to our house to gauge how big of a move it would be and set expectations. When the day of the move came his team was on time and wow did they move fast! I was very impressed by how careful and how quickly they packed everything into the truck. Amazing moving services. Very hardworking, fast, friendly, and attentive to taking good care of our furniture. Extremely professional and worked a full day of 8hrs with such a helpful and upbeat attitude! Their prices are extremely reasonable and well worth the experience and service that you get. They made everything we needed happen, including fitting an oversized couch into a very small and not ideal shaped hallway. I would highly recommend the Anywayz crew to anyone that wants quality service with good, friendly, and professional staff. I give them 6 out of 5 stars 🙂
The guys from Anywayz were extremely professional and worked quickly. It was a very hot day, during Covid, so masks the entire time...and they ended up working an hour extra (I had a lot of stuff), so I appreciated how nice they were, without complaining at all. They were very careful and made sure all of the furniture was wrapped and handled with care. Affordable, too. I definitely recommend Anywayz.
Could not recommend Victor and his team more. They were professional, fast, careful, and took every precaution when it came to COVID. He was flexible with timing and made the whole moving process the most relaxed one I've ever had. Very nice guy and had my move across town totally finished in just two hours! You also can't beat their prices! Very satisfied!
They were amazing!! Very communicative prior to the move, and on the day of they arrived on time and were extremely kind the whole day even though it was 90+ degrees and the truck ended up being to large to fit down the street at my old apartment so they had to cart everything to the end of the block. Both apartments had stairs and they tackled them without a problem. They worked quickly and were very careful with all of my items, wrapping everything they could. They even stayed after they finished and I had completed the payment and paperwork to tighten screws on all of my chairs. I'll definitely hire them again for the next time I move!
